WORKSHOP – KOLKATA (NBIRT)

 

For closure interaction with the field groups and to further discuss about the implementation strategy of the project NBIRT conducted a National level Workshop at Kolkata.

Date: September 30, 2019.

Location: ITC Sonar, Kolkata

 

Participants:

• Representatives from 26 field groups from 10 states participated in the programme.

• Dignitaries from Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India chaired a section of the workshop and gave their valuable suggestions.

• Professors and from IIT, Kharagpur, NBIRT and manufacturers of Micro Solar Dome explained the entire project activities to the participating groups.

• Total number of participants were about 100.

 

Discussion:

• Dignitaries from DST, GoI, IITKGP and NBIRT shared their idea about the project.

• Participants were given thorough idea and methodology about the project. Their role in the project were also made clear through presentation by NBIRT and IITKGP.

• One to one interactive session followed by discussion with the field groups were also arranged for efficient implementation of the project.

• As a follow up NBIRT in consultation with field groups finalized the date of the training and awareness programmes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After this workshop, we have signed MOU with 30 NGOs across 11 states that are considered in our study. In the next we present the names of the NGOs and the states where they are coordinating.
